Doug Gillings

Innovation Manager

Doug Gillings is an experienced Program and Project Manager specializing in digital transformation, with a focus on conservation and technology integration. Starting his career as a game ranger for the Natal Parks Board in South Africa, he has since worked in various conservation agencies and organizations across Southern Africa and Europe.

Throughout his career, Doug has concentrated on enhancing and scaling wildlife protection and conservation efforts. His tenure at organizations like Peace Parks Foundation and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) involved leading initiatives from combating wildlife crime interventions to implementing enterprise and project management systems. This diverse experience has reinforced his recognition of the vital role of synchronized human collaboration, streamlined processes, and innovative technology in fortifying conservation efforts on a broader scale.
